Hi there!

So yeah… I really failed on that “biweekly” posting promise. But I have a good excuse!

A few short months ago, I was offered a new job which I accepted. I am now the editor and major contributing author for a new men’s journal!

I’ve been crazy busy since the day I accepted the job, establishing a vision for the journal and figuring out who our main audience is (men 40 & older). But now we’ve really got the kinks ironed out and things are going very well! I am very excited to be a part of this and I look forward to seeing how successful we can make this journal in the future.

But that’s not the only reason I’ve been so busy… Unfortunately, my grandmother fell ill and I was traveling back and forth from NoVA to Florida for a little while. Now we have moved her up here to be close to family, and just yesterday we moved her into a beautiful new assisted living facility. She is happy and doing much better.

On top of all that, my parents are also in the process of selling my childhood home. I am still living here — at least until it sells! — and I’m helping them empty this place out. I’ve already packed up most of my own belongings, and now I’m just helping out where I can to make the process easier on my parents.

As soon as it sells, I will be moving into a new apartment with one of my oldest friends. I am very excited! It’s time to spread my wings and really take flight, and see where the wind takes me!

Lastly, just the other day, the publisher of Viva Tysons/Viva Reston Magazine called me and wondered if I was still doing any writing! He had hired me to write a series on private schools and do some advertising write-ups last year, but I hadn’t heard anything from him or the Magazines since. Turns out he’d like to use my services again, so please keep an eye out for some new articles or features by yours truly in these wonderful Northern Virginia magazines.

And that about sums it up! It’s been a whirlwind of a year so far, but I can’t wait for the rest of it. I’m still taking new clients and planning on doing more ghostwriting this year, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you are in need of my services. I look forward to meeting you!
